Drokpa

In the high altitudes of Ladakh, India, survives a tribe called the Drokpas. They are believed to be the oldest and purest human tribe but today only some 5000 members of this tribe remain and inhabit the cluster of seven villages located down the Indus River. They have beautiful gardens and wear a lot of flowers on their head. This piece was inspired by the Drokpas. Handmade with love.
